Frequently asked questions about Invisalign
How long must I wear the aligners each day?
For best results the aligners should be worn at least 22 hours a day and only removed for eating and brushing.
Does it hurt?
The first days with new aligners may cause mild discomfort, but this passes quickly. Most people get used to wearing the aligners after a couple of weeks.
Can I eat and drink with the aligners in?
You should always remove the aligners when eating and drinking anything other than water to avoid discolouration and damage to the aligners.
How much does treatment cost?

It is discouraged as it causes discolouration of the aligners. Treatment can be a good time to quit smoking or snus.
How long must I wear a retainer after treatment?
After treatment it is important to wear a retention aligner. We recommend use for at least 6 months and preferably 3 years, along with regular check-ups.
