Lysaker Brygge Dental Clinic was established in 1952 and has long experience delivering thorough and safe dental care. In the summer of 2024, Louise Øyen took over the clinic, and we continue the tradition of caring treatment. From the summer of 2026, dentist Karen Myklebust joins the team. You will find a modern environment focused on high-quality dental treatment tailored to your needs. We warmly welcome both new and existing patients!
Louise Øyen
Dentist and managing director
Louise Øyen is a dentist and owner of Lysaker Brygge Dental Clinic. She graduated from the University of Bergen in 2018, where she also worked as a student teacher in cariology. Louise has broad experience from both private and public dental practice, with previous workplaces in Lørenskog, Kolbotn and Carl Berner. In 2024 she took over the clinic from dentist Paal Strømme.
As managing director, Louise focuses on delivering high-quality dental services and a safe, comfortable experience for patients. She places great emphasis on building trust and promoting good oral health. Louise stays professionally updated through courses and continuing education, and she is a member of the Norwegian Dental Association (NTF).
Her goal is for Lysaker Brygge Dental Clinic to be a place where patients feel cared for, and where modern methods and equipment are used for the best possible treatment.
Kerstin Bystrøm Stavsholt
Dental secretary and hygienist
Kerstin is a licensed dental secretary with additional training in dental cleaning, tartar removal and anaesthesia and has been an invaluable part of Lysaker Brygge Dental Clinic for over 40 years.
Patients appreciate how thorough she is and how clean and smooth their teeth feel after cleaning. Kerstin is often the first face you meet, ensuring a warm welcome and quick, precise answers – whether by phone, email or at the clinic.
Karen Myklebust
Dentist
Karen is an engaged dentist who has built up good experience as a district dentist on Austevoll. She studied at the University of Bergen where she also taught students in periodontics (gum problems).
Karen is cheerful, positive and service-minded and works with modern technology. This makes the dental visit more efficient and comfortable for the patient.
Karen is well versed in HELFO reimbursement rules and has high professional precision. What matters to Karen is that patients are met with safety, empathy and good communication.
She is a versatile dentist who performs most dental treatment. Member of the Norwegian Dental Association (NTF). From the summer of 2026 we are fortunate to have Karen on the team, and she has capacity for new patients.
